SCORCHED
Story of favoring duty and loyalty over truth and setting oneself free.

ABOUT

My art profoundly communicate women’s power and strength, pain and agony, resilience and vulnerability, bravery and courage, desires, sensuality, exploration, gender equality, and identity. I stand strong with my love for black and white palettes and muses of exaggerated thrown off heads.

GALLERY
ACRYLIC PAINTING
A collection of monochromatic acrylic paintings represents aesthetic and spiritual purity, and both black and white are symbolic. White represents purity and innocence, while black can represent evil and death.
In Western cultures black often symbolizes grief, whereas white is the colour of mourning across Africa and parts of Asia.
I use acrylic paint with brushes to a minimal. I enjoy passionately painting and splattering using my fingers
accompanied by funk jazz, classical, at times rock… basically all genres interests me, it mainly depends on my mood. Wine is a constant of course but there are evenings when whisky is the chosen poison for a piece.
PEN ART
“A true born artist brimming with passion and natural creativity shares mesmerizing and powerful art communicating openness and authenticity”.
An evolution from acrylic paints and canvases to ink pens and paper, still standing strong with my love for black and white palettes, and muses of exaggerated thrown off heads.
These women are created to connect, strenghten, awaken our minds to limitless possibilities.
DIGITAL ART
The world is our oyster and possibilities are limitless, creativity as well is endless. I entered a new world of expanding capabilities through the digital world. A brand new chapter and adventure.
See, feel, and resonate with my women through a universe of technology with raw and tangible emotions.

A SINNER
Sins in thoughts, words or deeds
We are humans, we all bleed
To experience darkness is to know, see, and feel the light
There are rights in wrongs and wrongs in rights
Why be afraid of sin, I ask?
It’s time to unmask
Sin is vital in human learning,
Sin is a teacher for better understanding
Remove judgement that blinds your soul
Redeem the freedom that it hastily stole
Remember that peace is along sin’s length
Life is imperfectly beautiful with all its dents.
My personal take on sin
(exclusion of gravely sinful acts)

EVENTS

Shattering Inhibitions
“The Women I let Out”
A solo art exhibition that speaks of absolute resolution. The arched curving spines and up-turned jaws are statements that speak of the power of the feminine form; the beauty that reverberates like dancing heat from all those who choose to remain resilient. A show of vulnerability, choices, and breaking free.

Musings After Midnight
My first solo art exhibition that showcased a collection of women born in my kitchen after midnight. I had a daily ritual of transforming this space into an art station where I poured emotions, questions, pain, and hope through painting.

Solo Art Show “Blue Moon”
A solo show of conclusion. This was a notable year of disappointments, bravery, challenges, strength, and vulnerability. Importantly, a show that symbolized loves capabilities, letting go, and moving forward. Endings are new beginnings…
